Who would have expected such a dominant performance from him? - only champion players could have played as he did which such pressure. Legend.

Escaped a big hit too which most would have thought would be impossible.

Was weird, he didn't even look fired up and seemed totally relaxed. A good sign and shows some maturity. By that i mean imo the best forwards don't go out of their way looking for trouble, they just do their job.

i'll admit i was impressed by willie. even tho i wanted him to get smashed, i loved it after he scored the first try when he just lay down and soaked it all up.

Was a very impressive game by big willie

did anyone but me notice after the game, willie and SBW came together to shake hands, they hugged abit and it looked like SBW was keen to hang on a little longer and Big Willie brushed him... perhaps i was reading too much into it?

Haha...if anyone brushed anyone it was bobcat brushing wilie....butyeh I got your impression too.

His first try, you could see him lying there thinking "what should I do?"

He came up with the correct decision, '''dont play it up at all''', still 60 minutes to go and only 6 in front at that stage

Willie played it cool when he scored, which suprised me. However he is still a tool.

Mason and O'Meley could help win them a premiership, i know its early on but the intensity Roosters have shown in their first 4 matches havent been matched really.

Tis good to see everyone is crediting the two Bulldogs for our change. Any true Roosters fan could tell you the real reason behind the change in the club, but noone would ever truly believe Freddy is THAT ruthless ... oh he is tho, and some more :)

I actually think that Adrian Lam is the man behind getting the players so calm but intense at the same time, playing well and exciting. Freddy is the one behind the set plays and individual work of each player.

What you said 1st is very true, Mason and O'Meley have done nothing to get the Roosters into the form they are in now. Tupou, Anasta and Fitzgibon are the ones doing that. Funny how it looks like Tupou and Fitzgibon wont be around next year. Recruitment policy looks good, but will it pay off.

I actually think you dont know anything about our club. And i'll leave it at that.

The Roosters dont lose those they want to keep. Double Steamer will stay where he belongs..... with us.

Mason carried on like an idiot after that first try...Roosters were only 4 in front after that stage, and he carried on like an idiot giving the stupid look to all the dogs fans that showed up. How hard was it to get up and celebrate with his team mates instead of react to the crowd. He was damn lucky that some idiot didn't let emotion get the better of them and jump the fence - on that note, the fans were very well behaved tonight, despite all the media sh*t through the week talking up violence at the game (particularly if we lost).

Did he drink from the fountain of youth during the offseason? He's looked pretty average the last couple of seasons but has played like the old Fitzgibbon so far this year. Can he keep it going for another 20 weeks though?

Very dominant performance from Willie, he looked calm and composed all night.

As for SBW, he was the strongest player in a beaten side, looked dangerous when he had the ball. Almost pulled of one of the famous shoulder charges on O'Meley a couple of times.

Great game by the Roosters fans last night.

Fitzgibbon is actually a pretty frikkin good ball player. I've never seen that side of his game before. I hope he keeps it up.

 what ever you're on, ill have two!

I agree with whom ever said it, the roosters are real premiership threats this year, they have been outstanding so far, the intensity in defence has been very bloody impressive. And with that pack playing the way it is, Mitchell Pearce is having an easy time of it, he's got miles of space and time which has taken the pressure right off him

BTW, i though SBW played very well also, was easily the best dogs player in a very well beaten side.

 OK I'll bite.

How exactly did he "carry on like an idiot"?
