id also suggest the fans are damn lucky they didnt jump the fence... not only would said person be in a lot of legal striffe right now, if he got close enough to have a crack at Mason, im willing to bet, Mason would smash 10 shades of sh*t out of the silly prick.

Did he drink from the fountain of youth during the offseason? He's looked pretty average the last couple of seasons but has played like the old Fitzgibbon so far this year. Can he keep it going for another 20 weeks though?
playing second row lock is better than playing in the front row. He had a fair season last year but honestly Anderson nearly killed him. Whatever he is on I want some too.

Does anyone know when the fire sale starts - I believe there are a lot of t-shirts for sale dirt cheap. How much did they pay to look like idiots.

Only Willie can drop the ball over the line and be awarded a try...

His left hand (i think it was) never bloody left the footy, remove head from arse, then post... that side on angle showed it perfectly, no doubt that was a completely legitimate try

Mason carried on like an idiot after that first try...Roosters were only 4 in front after that stage, and he carried on like an idiot giving the stupid look to all the dogs fans that showed up. How hard was it to get up and celebrate with his team mates instead of react to the crowd. He was damn lucky that some idiot didn't let emotion get the better of them and jump the fence - on that note, the fans were very well behaved tonight, despite all the media sh*t through the week talking up violence at the game (particularly if we lost).
Considering the fact that a lot of Bulldogs supporters have carried on like pork chops over Mason changing teams, I find it rather laughable that a dogs fan has the gall to accuse Willie of being an idiot.

Players change teams regularly, Mason is one of them, he's been gone for months.

GET OVER IT!

Bulldogs fans and players just don't get it. Willie Mason has taken you fools and landed you hook, line and sinker. This is a follow-up from what Phil Gould talked about when Parramatta destroyed you lot last year, and how poetic it was when Mason hammered Inu and Inu just jumped up and they laid on a try on the next tackle. The Bulldogs last night got so caught up in the bullsh*t leading up to that game that they forgot about a gameplan. Roosters, Fittler, Mason, they were all smarter than that. They played the game and then switched to professional footballers from the whistle. This little tidbit from an SMH article today sums that up:

SMH said:
Hours before last night's match, Willie Mason strolled along Coogee Bay Road and headed for his favourite cafe, seemingly oblivious to the fact he was about to confront his former teammates for the first time.
Alongside him was Reni Maitua, a good friend and brother from the 2004 grand final victory against the Roosters. If Mason was at war with the club he stormed out of - and the players he left behind - it wasn't with this one. Lattes with the enemy, even though Maitua wasn't playing last night.

It will never get light...we have some heavy duty backers...and they're smart...it was your dummies that blatantly rorted the salary cap and got caught...and docked their whole seasons points bar the bye points...and that's not a rumour...that's a fact...

Mason showed some class when he scored, he didn't overly celebrate - even though he could've got the Thierry Henry "finger to the lips" - just soaked it up and got on with the job.

Impressive performance when you consider the pre-match hype and pressure...

Mason was great and I thought his first try silence was pretty respectful to his old fans it was a great display from all the Roosters Fitz, Minichiello, Sa, Pearce, Anasta, Kenny D, Tupou ya get my drift xcellent team effort and I rate them deadset Premiership chances, just dismantled the Dogs in attack and defence, Patten was the only one who worried Easts in attack in the first half

Cant believe Canterbury didnt have Maitua in the 17 though, I mean he wouldnt have changed much last night but still that was a pretty run of the mill Dog squad

Mason staring at the crowd would have annoyed them more than him acting the lair
