Not in those combo's but i think Parra have choices. As a tigers fan today i was always worried about what Witt would do with the ball. He always looked dangerous. If i was Brain Smith, my team would look something like this

1.Mckinnon
2.Burt
3.Peterson (Hes not a winger)
4.Graham
5.Grothe
6.Dykes
7.Witt
8.Desolous
9.Morris
10.Vella
11.Widders
12.Hindmarsh
13.Wagon

Witt is creative and looks dangerous, and dykes is sensible. Throman needs time, but dont chuck him yet. You guys had your chances today and could have won if you held onto the ball early in the second half

This year is shot. We're not going to land a big name half. Might as well use the rest of the season to develop a halves combo for next year.
With any luck Souths will buy out a good chunk of Dykes contract meaning there's not point in him starting.

2.Matt Orford
3.Kevin Campion (if off contract)
4.Ben Creagh

I say we have another try and a Morris/ Witt combo. Those guys built up a winning combo last year only to have it stuffed up by Smith favourite Dykes. It's worth a shot at least.

A new coach would help the forwards alot, Rod Reddy was a pussy and this pack is playing just like him.

Is what Parra has to leave in place for the rest of the season. They need to be given a change to gell together at NRL level. As for next season...that will depend on who joins us.

i agree but T Smith should break into first grade by the end of the season and hopefully a new coach can lure Orford to Parramatta so he can be closer to his folks who live on the central coast.

It may seem strange to say so after a thrashing, but it was an improved performance (in attack). At least with Thorman and Witt, the halves are running North / South and passing, creating some space out wide. We certainly looked more dangerous on the left today than we have in a long time.

Thorman bombed a try today, but at least he broke the line. Witt looked dangerous running the ball also.

Dykes with either Thorman or Witt is not an option. I don't know, but I reackon he must overcall them. We've seen Thorman go OK until Dykes comes on. Similarly, last year, Witt was going OK until Dykes came back from injury, then suddenly he wasn't getting any ball.

Glenn Morrison would be good, he can really help build a defencive culture at the club. Maybe move Cayless back to the front row and Morrison into the second row.

I think we need leadership, Orford is a class player in a very important position who plays for a more successful club than Parramatta.

Here's my spin.

Wagon in Row 13 of the concourse....sitting next to Vella.
Thorman at 7.
Witt at 6.

Let the young ones cut loose.

We have a forward pack.
His name is Nathan Hindmarsh.
