Must be that shampoo, eh Pazza?!
Back on topic, at this point in the season for me, the ONLY combo that can be right is Witt/Thorman. Witt earnt it from his top grade performances last year, and once he gets his confidence back after being shafted for Dykes in the trials (onya Brian), he'll hopefully be back to his best.
Thorman is a prospect, young and keen - he relocated from the UK to play for us/NRL. Give him time to gel with Witt and the first grade team, and let's see what he's got. This pair is a halves pairing we can look to next year as well.
Wagon is not a five eighth. His days of being a winger, centre, or anywhere in the backline are over. It was a disgrace that he was trialled and started the year at five-eighth (onya Brian), after failing dismally there on various occasions in 2003. He can tackle, so keep him in the pack and let him just do that, alongside Hindy for 80min.
And Dykes, I don't think he works in good combo with ANY of our half/five-eighth options? He had two good games at the end of last year, did OK a few times this year, but he is not our future. A good stand-by to have if needed, but our worst investment this century so far needs to just run around Prems and let his experience help the Tim Smiths of the world and count his ca$h.
