Which just confirms the fickleness of your position. He's a hero or he's a zero.
Clearly needs a creative 6, so unless he has Keary or Lui throwing money balls he'll look average. Api K up the middle creates momentum.
Adam Reynolds is the same without his 6 & 9 he is shit.
Moses needs his 6 to be the guy next year and our boy Reed needs to find a bit of touch footy in his game rather just shifting.
BA would turn him into a reserve grader.Top shelf. He is a very big kid. Once fills out he would be 95kgs. Currently 190cm and 88kgs.
I reckon Panthers will turn him into a ball playing lock
Reductio ad absurdumHow is overchasing not a thing? So if you are marker and the play goes to the left the coach is happy for the marker to keep chasing that way no matter how far the player runs or how many passes are made?
He kicked four from the sideline. He's entitled to hit the post from in front sometimes. The only reason it was a massive moment was absolute lethargy from our left edge. We should've recovered the ball.Kicking that penalty goal would not have made him a hero. It was adjacent to the uprights. There's no debate, the guy should have kicked it with his eyes closed. It wasn't even a clutch moment, but he still fell a long way short of delivering what his team needed... If that's a Zero, then so be it...
I don’t want to alarm you but your beer appears to be possessed and defying gravity. Here’s to the off season. Ironically I’m at the Woolpack Hotel in Redfern.

So over chasing is a thing.Reductio ad absurdum
Of course the push needs to remain within reason, but as strider pointed out, we needed to put pressure on Cook. Too many times there were huge gaps (or just lack of chase back) where Takairangi was supposed to be. Too much effort is not even close to causing the problems that lack of effort brings.
Yep I mentioned this last night. One of Gennings, Taka, Brown or Lane should have been cleaning that up. The fact they were asleep and none of them got there shows the general attitude of the team.He kicked four from the sideline. He's entitled to hit the post from in front sometimes. Also what was our left edge doing when Moses missed the penalty goal? The ball rebounded 20m back to our left edge and they were asleep. Moses should have kicked it but the fact our left edge were asleep and didn’t get to the ball sums up the general attitude of the team.
I’ve certainly seen it with our dog. Thinks the stick is going faster than what it really is and ends up overrunning the mark and failing to collect the stick. I should probably give him a couple of weeks in Wenty to sort himself out.So over chasing is a thing.
You mean Wenty dogs? Is he a greyhound?I’ve certainly seen it with our dog. Thinks the stick is going faster than what it really is and ends up overrunning the mark and failing to collect the stick. I should probably give him a couple of weeks in Wenty to sort himself out.
I’ve been so over chasing for years. So over chasing is a thing.
He’s a skinny ridgeback that often gets confused for a greyhound. Doesn’t really do ‘fetch’ if truth be known. In fact, after 10 years I am still trying to work out what he actually does...You mean Wenty dogs? Is he a greyhound?
*skirtI’ve been so over chasing for years.
It never happens except in your dumb hypothetical. So over chasing is a thing.
Yep, merkins still blaming the halfback when we scored 24 points. Defence was our problem yesterday, as it was against Melbourne. Having your edges disrupted through injury ten minutes into the finals is just bad luck.I'm still perplexed why we didn't get a penalty? Souths just assumed (like our lazy team too) that he was going to kick it and were all within 10 of the kick when he kicked it so surely that is a penalty, otherwise why do we make them retreat the 10 metres?? Why have i not heard one "expert" in the media talk about it? Do they also not know the rules??
The refs are as much as responsible as Moses for what ensued. Instead of getting a kick from right in front and a guaranteed 2 points, Souths go up and score a try.
So basically the game turned on the non call of a professional foul and then a missed penalty for the referees not know the rules........
Anyways, the way we crumbled after that defensively is just not acceptable, blame Moses all you want but as a team we lost the capacity to dig in a play for one another.
This team is the 1%ers away from being in the final 4, i still believe we need a genuine game breaker in the back line and a true ball playing forward to win the big one though but with the extra efforts required to be successful we are playing next week.
When we make a break there is rarely anyone pushing up, while when you see the good teams their team are all surrounding the ball and there are multiple options to pass to. It is amazing how every time Matto or Drown poke their noses through there is never a player there waiting for the ball, those effort and pushing up are what we need. Is it lack of true fitness, game awareness or plain laziness and poor coaching?
Anyways, i am kinda glad it is over for the year as i have been over this season since we lost 38-0 and knew we didn't have the extra effort required to push the good teams this year, the last 2 weeks were proof.
Hopefully we can acquire a few decent players in the offseason.........
We had ridgebacks when I was a kid. I read years later that they are one of the dumbest breeds. I don't remember them being stupid but I didn't have other dogs to compare them to, though one of them ate a chicken carcass including the metal skewer that we found all bent up in his poo. They both ended up being killed by cars in separate incidents. He’s a skinny ridgeback that often gets confused for a greyhound. Doesn’t really do ‘fetch’ if truth be known. It depends how you define ‘stupid’. The fairest thing I can say is that they are ‘all rounders’. They don’t excel at anything but are solid when it comes to most things. Stubborn as f**k though. We had ridgebacks when I was a kid. I read years later that they are one of the dumbest breeds.
