I don't know if Robbo has spoken to Lindsay or not, I would put money on it that he has. That will stay behind closed doors just like Whitehead's would of had he a) not approached the roosters immediately after the game and b) not sooked to the media about it.

He got lucky that Uncle Nick got Cooper Cronk to join the Club. Cooper was Captain Coach for those two Premierships. When Cooper retired we all know he his record against Top 4 teams has been absolutely abysmal.

He is not the Super Coach that some in the media make him out to be.

He is also one of the biggest hypocrites in the NRL. His side has been responsible for some of the most appalling on field incidents this season. And it’s always nothing to see here.

He wasn't trying to hurt him, it was an awkward situation as Smith dived on a loose ball and braced himself expecting someone to jump on to him or at least touch him.

Instead he just stood over him, presumably wafting until he moved to try and strip the ball or take him to the sideline. The ref handled it very poorly and said nothing for what seemed like a long time until he then said play on and quickly after surrender.

In that situation, Smith shouldn't be expected to get up and play on and if the defender chooses not to touch him then the ref should just call surrender and have him play the ball.
