I didn't mind wolfmother, yes their influences were pretty obvious, however many bands also do this; David Coverdale/Plant, Oasis/The beatles, You am I/Hanson.

Wolfmother tried hrd to bring back a particular style, worked a little so i think whilst many don't lke them, appreciate them for atleast trying to revitalise Rock N' Roll.

Jet also did that but got slammed for it.
Their first album was a good album...shame every song sounded a lot like another song.

big call from a bloke who's biggest hit was a cover of an old song.

'Epic' was a bigger hit (in the U.S at least) than 'Easy'.

Anyway, it's not like Patton's aim is to make hits, the majority of his projects are avant-garde and experimental.
