why is it that there is no females playing first grade rugby league?

dont you think its sexist and chauvinistic to nothave a female playing first grade, surely in the whole of australia theres some kickass blondes.

why do men feel the need to degrade women like this? yes a select few arent up to men in physicality but remember how a lady bashed a man in the ring that time? its days like this im ashamed to be a man

i believe a qouta system of 1 female per first grade side, and 4 per nrl squad

hmm i dont think females would be able to handle the skill level the current nrl players have. Johns , Lockyer , Marshall , Williams, Covell, Tupou, Kimmorley, Gallen, Jason Smith... these guys would run all over girls

i was playing touch footy with girls not long ago, and ive gotta say i made them look very ordinary

yeah girls ball work is allways exceptional.

But comeon.... seriously there are some sports that can mix and some that cant just yet, and tackle footy is one of those.

There's a reason why women play Touch and Union more than League... It's purely about body mass, and the rigors of the sport. Women have a much lower average body mass, so you don't see many with physiques that would suit League.

However, I would LOVE it if some talented women did come through the ranks to shake things up.

I do think it's a remote possibility -- if Roy Bell and Joven Clarke can play first grade, then why not a woman?

Men don't compete against women in just about any sport in the top level, let alone league. They don't even do it in proper golf tournaments!
