For those not in the know, The womens ashes is played across all formats under a points system.

The winner of the Test match will receive four points, while a draw results in two points for each team.

For the ODIs and T20s, the winning side will receive two points. In the event of a tie or draw, each team will receive one point.

Australia hold the ashes, so poms need to score more points, same points at the end wont be enough

Perry like Healy and Gardner had poor WBBL's -Katie Mack would be considered unlucky in not making the main squad- She has now contracted Covid so will be isolating for 7 days- Australia A's first game against England A is on January 21

Australia A will play England A across three T20s and three 50-over fixtures which will run concurrently with the Women’s Ashes later this month.

Yeah the A teams are merely the back up players in case required to be drafted into the main squad

What a novel idea, I guess WBBL done and dusted helps

I think we are going to see a bit of a changing of the guard in this series. I love women's cricket and we have so many good young players coming through.

Chasing 170 to win

Deck not doing too much, Some of those boundary ropes are brought right in. Healy could go ape out there.

Should win based on the quality we have, but not all are in form
