Surely they dont leave Brown stranded on 9 overs? Good chance for 5 for
Agree odd bowling tactics by Lanning. Also left Perry with only the four overs. Heck she has proven herself to be a champion over and over so chances were she'd have bounced back from her earlier rubbish..

Either have I of late. Her last international was three years ago. I dont watch the WBBL. She gives the ball a real rip.. prompting Adam Gilchrist to liken her to a young Shane Warne.

Yeah weird one

Just looking at stats and timelines, looks like Wareham replaced her mid 2018 or so, like for like.

Yeah was thinking that too, surely you give Perry an over or two later on

In any case, we should get the runs pretty easily.

Not sure why. Selectors above all others know that it takes time to hone then master leg spin. Wellington is a mature 24 now. Give her another crack at this level. To her credit Wareham is accurate.. and restricting runs is all important in limited overs cricket.

We don't know what goes on behind the scenes

Wellington could have a developed poor attitude or possibly had a minor injury giving Wareham her chance? No idea

Wareham has won two world cups and been in a ton of T20 and ODI wins, and she is only 22yo. She does give it a tweak as well, but her control is outstanding for a leggie. Not sure Wellingtons road back will be based on maturity alone, Wareham has that all over her now.

Healy motoring to that 2000 run milestone.

Haynes happy to play second fiddle. Few do that role better.
