Woods isn't the way forward by any means but who replaces him? Some of the things he did every game he did very well and is needed in an NRL side. It's like we are relying on someone like Hunt to step up and take the main prop role. Won't be Tolman, won't be Fifita, won't be BHU. Hunt's got the size and the promise but he's about as green as they come. Not much else in the offers.

The middles we have for 2021 are:

BHU
Hunt
Finucane
Rudolf
Williams
Tolman (likely).

McInnes will likely start in the 13.

Graham and Nikora will likely hold onto their edge positions.

Williams had a big year, I'd be moving him to the 10. He improved markedly this year and doesn't have the defence or leg speed to defend on the edge.

A bench with BHU, Hunt and Talakai worked for us in 2020, no reason why it won't in 2022.

You know, from what is not popular amongst the forum is that he will leave a big hole in the forward depth. I'm glad to see the back of him as well but I'm not going to explain the obvious. Especially to Since73

With the current squad assuming Finucane starts at prop one of Williams, Toby of BHU starts. BHU has the size but lacks work rate and better from the bench. Toby is raw and inconsistent. Williams has been good but is he going to be able to take the pack forward in the first 20 minutes at his size.

I like Royce but he has essentially missed a season and is inexperienced. I suspect Mooney and Fitz will sign another prop to start and look to develop the other middles.
