Major disappointment of the tournament from a Kiwis point of view was Nikorima, this game should suit him and he didn’t offer much at all

Not too many major talking points, SJ stood up and had a really big tournament, Maumolo was really good and Isaako the huge surprise packet, he was outstanding

David Fifita was unstoppable for the Aussies

Was good entertaining footy with plenty of upsets, namely the Cooks thrashing Samoa and Lebanon with no NRL players beating the Poms

Highlight for me was the Kiwi Ferns win over Australia.
Great fight.

Crowds were poor. Some of the ref's decisions were terrible, especially Perenara in the mens final.
Didn't check with his touchie, just gave the try to Australia when it clearly didn't touch the line.

That never even looked like a try, not to mention the 2 on 1 strip let go and also the joke Shoulder charge penalty

The style really suited Adam Blair, able to run around looking fancy with the ball in 1 hand while avoiding contact
