As they should. It's the World Cup we are supposed to play difficult teams. People forget that we've defeated and drawn with the Netherlands in recent years.

I don't care where they're seeded. I'm comparing them on strength alone.

Uruguay over Chile.
Italy over the Netherlands

Spain trump England considerably.

Personally I think group G is the group of death.

All 4 teams made the knockout stage at the last World Cup and all would have the expectation of doing so again.

That's my thinking. For a group to be a 'Group of Death', every side in it should be a realistic shot of qualifying. We disqualify Group B on that front.

Agreed. Who knows? With the new coach, the right tactics, and a lot of self belief we might even stun a few people.

I'm more hopeful this time than I was last time with the negative tactics we'd been employing.

Being the host country can also be suffocating for some sides.

If Brazil don't start well... The pressure will intensify and pressure can do weird things to some.

They are going through a bit of a golden generation at the moment... This could be they're time

i cant even see us getting lucky and scoring a goal and our defense is just terrible
