Just watched the Kayo mini, how did Crichton stay on the field? Elbow to jaw, player (CHT) knocked out cold and gone for the game? Sums up a send off..... oh an Aussie ref, bias much?
International league has to sort that shit out. You can not ref your home country, period!

If I heard Vossy right Aussie has played Samoa 4 times before this event. That's pretty sad.

Samoa can hold their head up high and hopefully we get more international league out of this.

A certain Gina Reinhardt has a spare 14million after Netball Australia didn't want it.
She want a international league cup named after her? Best part Aussie won't want to play due to her Dads racest comments in the past. Maybe she can get Trump to present the trophy ? Haha

f**k that, given the number of indigenous players in the NRL that'd be insulting.

I noticer that Aus have really pulled ahead of everyone else in the women's game, no doubt due to the NRLW. Have the Warriors got plans to re-enter that comp now Covid is done with? I understand why it wasnt workable to keep our team there in 2020 but we clearly need to be back for the same of the NZ game.

Your right, Aussie are miles ahead of us now. They had they perfect preperation with 2 NRLW seasons this year. The footy is excellent and structured. In between those 2 Comps the Girls go back and play club footy which is also of a high standard. The NSW womans comp is called the Harvey Norman Womans Premiership. 9 team comp laced with Rep players from the NRLW.

Below this is a reserve grade comp where players that dont make the game day 18 and players returning from injury go back and play to get match fitness.

There is also womans comps in each District. The district we are in has 8 teams and also has a 8 team league tag Comp.

So the depth is getting bigger and stronger. Getting a Warriors womans team in the NRLW is a good start but they have to do it in conjunction with the NZRL if they want to develop the next generation Girls coming through in NZ. If its left to the Warriors then all they will focus on is competing and winning.

My Cousin Nadene is the Kiwis manager. I discussed this with her earlier in the year and she said that NZRLs plan of attack is to send as amany girls as they can to Aussie to get into their systems and structures and learn from there.

That seems to be the best way going forward. But we also need at least 3 tests a year against them as well. A good indication of where we stand against them 3 times a year can only benefit our planning
