Most are really nice kits this world cup. Only England and Ireland I'm not keen on.

Agreed, regarding Ireland's design. I'm not a big fan of it, personally. But the shade of green, the emerald, is bang on, and thus makes them instantly recognisable.

They don’t have to produce lots.

Remove lots and the point still stands, if they don't think they're going to be able to sell Kangaroos gear (outside of the main jersey) then there's no incentive to produce it.

I had to look at the image several times before I could even see the difference. Maybe front-on is more obvious, however it sorta defeats the purpose of a 'main' and 'alternate' kit when they're almost the same.
