Worse Ground Announcer - Tonight 2UE

Glenn Wheeler has apparently been voted the worst NRL ground announcer as aired on 2UE tonight. I've got no idea who voted, but a little harsh I thought. That young guy last year wasn't much chop. He has more passion and enthusiasm than some of the players at the moment.

I have been to a few away games this year and some of the crap served up by clubs has to be seen to be believed. Penrith was a shocker! We would have one of the best set ups in the league with regards to game days and entertainment and Wheeler plays a large part in that.

As SE said the guy last year had nothing.

I havent been to too many grounds so cant comment on many others
I don't even think Parramatta has a ground announcer, atleast not one who gets onto the field

It's also wrong. Glenn has been around for much longer than the Broncos plagiarised "noise gee up"

More likely they copied it off him.

There is no better in the same role then Glenn. Even the NRL thnk so as it's no long ago he won the honour of being the only crowd gee upperer allowed onto an oppostion ground.
