Worst attacking footy coach 2009

How is questioning a coach not supporting the team?
If a team is under-performing, surely a supporter would want whats best for the team.
And if something's not being done about it, you start pointing fingers. And generally, the first point of call is the coach.

its a bid hard when half our cap is on the sideline, surely you would know how it feels after many years, a backline with major issues, halves who havent played more then a couple of games together

cant blame the coach for suspensions and injuries, he is doing his best with what he has

its something called luck, rub of the green etc

Well steel its like this, its called injuries and suspension.

Its a roll of the dice and premierships are decided every year on those issues.

If the coach is so farked would we have finished equal first on the table in 08 ?

Im not saying that the sharks are or are not farked. Or even trying to offer an excuse.
I honestly dont keep a close enough eye on the sharks to suggest what might be going wrong/done properly etc.


Redback just said that Reefy wasnt supporting his team by questioning the coach.
I merely suggested that questioning the coach may not conflict with someones support of the team.


Either way - the season is young.

Nothing to do with Bird or Seymour. From memory the team had a shocker. When it needed to count Stuarts coaching failed them.

If it was kimmorely who got us there and not stuart then realistically kimmorely failed when it counted.

In the end if it comes to light that stuart was responsible for bird not playing then you will have a a valid argument.

As it stands losing a couple of key players cost us any competitive chance, you can't cover losses like that in a major semi.

However i do think if bennet was the coach bird would have played.

Thats very hard to judge question ,most coaches use very similar structures nowadays and no where near as much adlib play. Take bennetts sides back in the 90's with Brisbane , incredible attacking sides with speeds to burn and then take St george now there defense is winning there games and they are struggling in attack . It all comes down to the calibre of players you have and exucution.

I still think that Sheens is a worse attacking coach than Stuart.

There was a lot of luck in the Tigers' 56 points, while there was some good structure in the Sharks' attack.

Like Reefy, I'm liking what I see.
