well said thickos
i dont care if we lose, i mean as a fan i want us to win and eventually i wanna see a premiership but if we lose i can cop it sweet when the boys put in and do their best, ala Warriors semi, but when i pay my hard earned to watch a pack of players barely even try at times, it grinds my gears. No doubt ill still turn up, because its awesome to go to the footy and get into it with the army lads and lasses but effort, anbd 100% is all i want and can ask for of the players and coaching staff

Elliott should go and I agree with Edwahu 110%. Get Anderson in now and let him take over.

If it is to let Anderson (Or whom ever is signed) come in, I'm all for sacking Elliott, but if it is for an interim coach, then no f**king way. It's a really bad image to project when the rest of the comp thinks we're a joke (they thought we were a joke before the season even began).

agreed
if its to bring in our coach for next season then my oath, pay out elliott and bring him in, if not then let elliott see out his contract and have him start taking a back seat role

The bottom line is that we all love the Raiders, hence the passion of getting rid of Elliott NOW rather than him just 'turning up' every week to see out his contract. Coaches get sacked mid-season in English soccer all the time and more often than not, the team performs a lot better. I think his going to Penrith has had a destabilising effect on the side and the sooner he goes, the better.

I don't see how this is constructive at all. No matter who he selects, I go into every game optimistically and supporting all the players because in the end, they're playing for the club I follow.

Selection bashing, player bashing, coach bashing and management bashing are all a waste of time in my eyes. I'd much rather just go out and watch my team play.

I thought you should of declared your innings closed after your first post in this thread, but this one tops it. Couldn't of said it better myself. Not happy with the coaching, but I don't want the Raiders to be the next Souths either...I'll be there in Bay72 on Sat night standing proud*

It quite possibly is a factor, but we just don't know. If these merciless beatings continue to occur, I'm sure more and more news will leak out of the club. Until then we're just guessing.

I agree with sunny - in a perfect world the fact that the coach is moving on shouldn't have the slightest impact. These guys should want to hit the field and win every single time they play. Why would you suddenly drop your bundle when down by a couple of tries (as happened on Sunday) just because Elliott is moving on?

His supposed popularity with the players I think is a definite factor.

Is it professional? No. Is it appropriate given they have jobs to do? Of course not.

Is it understandable to some degree? Yes.
