I've been to Brighton beach. It's not that good.

Obviously not behind the beach huts on a Saturday night

I was there in the 90's one time and had come out of a club with mates
my mate went to go for a piss and came running back about 30 seconds later saying "do not go round there"

Obviously, we went to check it out

There were about 10 blokes standing there getting gobbies off other blokes while other stood watched

A couple of them moved towards us and we legged it

Let's just say, I wasn't too keen to wander back round there any time soon

A mate who lived in Brighton told us after that things can get quite nasty as they don't appreciate people just wandering in unless you're going to take part.

Kinda similar story .. my Kuri mate from when I lived in Adelaide used to like to roll homos for their wallets. There's this nationally famous beat/cruising ground on East Terrace (Victoria Park) that's always packed with dudes blowing each other in the bushes at night. He tried to hassle some queer there and apparently the dude screamed and like 20 naked guys appeared from the shadows to help the guy out. Lucky my friend knew how to run, or who knows what might have happened to him.
