Was once abused by a Dragoons supporter for wearing a Sharks hat at jubilee.
Picture a bikie wearing a goons jersey with pie and sauce all over it.

One day in 2004 I went to Saints vs. Brisbane in the Gong with my uncle, aunt and 2 cousins. Aunt is a Souths fan and the other 3 Saints. I was also going to storm vs dogs on the Sunday so i wore my storm jersey in an attempt to be "neutral".

Well didn't I cop it? Some bloke told me that I had "a lot of nerve showing up in that". On the train back to Hurstville this one particular bloke started getting stuck in to me. Really just banter but he made mention of the penalty try and i just said; don't blame the ref, blame Jaimie Ainscough! The whole carriage arked up and my uncle let's rip at the top of his voice; how the f**k do you think i feel!?!? He's my nephew for f**ks sake! I have to deal with this all the time! And do you know where he was born? St. George hospital! And he grew up in Riverwood! He's a traitor!

My poor aunt was afraid I'd end up lynched. Anyways, i met the ringleader a couple of years later and we are now mates.

Hell hath no fury like a cuminion interrupted.

Kinda similar story .. my Kuri mate from when I lived in Adelaide used to like to roll homos for their wallets. There's this nationally famous beat/cruising ground on East Terrace (Victoria Park) that's always packed with dudes blowing each other in the bushes at night. He tried to hassle some queer there and apparently the dude screamed and like 20 naked guys appeared from the shadows to help the guy out. Lucky my friend knew how to run, or who knows what might have happened to him.

It's quite bizarre how many of these incidents involve dragons fans

Where's your chivalrous spirit ya wee shiteing merkin ya?

Because my mate, who's girlfriend it was, was able to handle himself and the situation appropriately.

I liked your story about Brighton. Went round the back for a "look" eh?

It wasn't bad behavior per se. In retrospect I thought it was quite funny but it could've been worse if my aunt hadn't told me uncle to pull his head in!

I have witnessed a mate ( dragons fan) abuse harrigan on the telephone over the penalty try.
A well known league identity was with us on the piss when he mentioned he had Bills phone number.
Next thing my mate has the phone and is ripping into bill.

I doubt Bill was pleased .

Had no idea dragons fans were sandy about the penalty try call.
How could you possibly argue with that decision?

Actually it was the forward pass try not the penalty try.
I think kimmorely through one that looked forward but wasn't .

of course he wouldn't be. He made the right call after all. Like Sutton on good Friday even then I didn't know that was the rule at the time.

A pissed Broncos fan in an Origin Jumper giving it to a young girl who was in a wests jersey who dared wave her flag when the tigers scored. Security turfed him not long after.
