Worst Halfback?

Finch does have the ability in him, but he does not dominate a game as a playmaker and never really has. Despite last year when he was near the top of the league with try assists and line breaks, most would say despite these stats Freddy was the more dominating half at Easts and Finch offered him good support. Since Freddy retired and the Firman f**kup more pressure has been placed on Finch to direct Easts play and he's simply not up to it. Easts still have a decent forward pack and there is still a lot of strike power in the backs but when your team is scoring most of its points through intercepts as Easts have in the past few weeks, Finch's confidence in getting his team across the tryline has got to be fubar.

Will Anasta make a difference next year or does Sherwin currently do what Freddy has done in the past for Finch and support the weaker half?

anasta has it in him to be the best in the game but he has long periods of bad form.

People mention Withers but he is not a half by choice and his preferred position is hooker and he is playing much better since moving there.

Just to reiterate on what 69 touched on, the Roosters will never win a comp while Finch is at the club. Cut your losses and upgrade to George Carmont.

Am i the only raiders fan pissing himself as memories flood back of countless arguments with roosters fans about finchy. We said for 2 years that Finch would be junk once fittler left... we were told it was sour grapes, finch was a super star!
