Before tonight, I would have voted for Manu Vatuvei's performance against Manly at Brookvale.

But, Luke Capewell now deserves the honor. He simply has to be dropped for that shocker.

Special mention goes to Ben Roberts mental game.

1st Luke Capwell (vs Bulldogs)
2nd Manu Vatuvei (vs Manly)

You must be pissed off with Souths winning.

Capewell has been a breath of fresh air since he came up to firsts, he's always sniffing around looking for an offload and is a great runner with nice deception and hands. He just needs to bulk up and get some catching practice, if anyone needs dropping it's Merritt who needs to go back and earn his place in the team

Engine you goose.

Capewell is playing his 5th FG game ever, and kept trying and scores the winning try.

Roberts played much much worse.

Cliffy, you are an absolute fool.

If it wasn't for Capewell's errors, Souths would have had an EASY win.

Ben Roberts had some awful mental errors, but Capewell had some awful mental AND skill errors.

Tell me one person who had a worse game than Capewell in 2008?

Capewell was terrible tonight. It's not under 6's where scoring a try makes your man of the match. The attempt on Taumata for the first try was downright terrible. He didn't even contest the bomb when Crisp scored, and he let a ball go past him he could of caught which was then stripped leading directly to Winitana strolling over. He had a shocker regardless of how many games he's played in NRL.

Capewell's efforts were much more frequently bad than Roberts. Roberts' plays certaintly led to the loss, no doubt about it.

But, Capewell was much worse than Roberts. Souths would have won comfortably without him.

Chris Houston's "performance" against the Dragons the other night, deserves a mention also.

capewells performance is one of the worst at fullback ive ever seen.

taylor shouldve benched him after the second dogs try, he clearly was gone.

who was that souths player in the semi final in the 80s, he was similar
