The Raiders have had a whole stack of them.

Take your pick from the following:

Jason Bulgarelli
David Howell
Matt Gafa
Greg Wolfgramm
David Atkins
Damon Booby
Mark Asbock
Anthony Brann
Brett Boyd
Jimmy Veikoso
Kris Tassell
Trevor Schodell
Steve Stone
Shawn Rubesaame
Craig O'Neall
Geoff MacNamara
Darren Mapp
Kris Kahler
Craig Frawley
Jerome Guisset

And I could go on and on...

booby was an awesome player.. just a shame his career was cut short by injury..

and agree with asbock.. used to play in the same team and he was massively overrated, but never seemed to do anything special..

He was one of Balmain's worst players in the '80s, when they had the best forward pack & the worst backline in the comp. The only reason he got selected was for goal kicking.

A few from the Sea Eagles
The Wolfman
Phil Daley (nepotism)
Noel Cleal (fat bludger)

worst commentator I ever heard was Ray Warren's son on the radio. There were technical difficulties & he was getting upset & squealing like a girl; really unprofessional. After that his nickname was "kittens".

Warriors could almost field a team of qualified players for this thread.

1. Doc Murray
2. Paul Staladi
3. Peter Lewis
4. David Bailey
5. Paul Atkins - One game wonder. Played against the Roosters, returned the ball from the kick running hard and straight at top speed. Too bad both times he ran directly at Adrian Morley.
6. Shane Endacott - Daddy gave him more games than he deserved.
7. Ben Lythe - Highlight was a 80th minute charge down try. Shame it was his kick that got charged down and gave the Knights an 18-all draw.
8. Grant Young - Made Tyran Smith's hands look as safe as a vault.
9. Aaron Lester - Remember him? Yeah, me neither.
10. Matt Jobson
11. Tyran Smith
12. Mark Carter - One of the worst union converts ever
13. Matt Spence

14. Corey Lawrie
15. Kane Ferris
16. Cliff Beverly
17. Logan Edwards - 14 career games, and yes still managed a couple of games for NZ in 95.

Couple of interesting names there. Matt Jobson has to be the all time WTF signing for the Warriors. Grant Young ... I remember him having a great game for the Crushers against us, and then the media cottons on that he has Kiwi heritage, and he's basically straight into the Kiwis. Had a really good test series against the Poms. He signs with the Warriors, really looking forward to it... and yeah, for some reason now can't catch a ball. Paul Atkins... I've got to give it to him that he was a plucky fellow, if anyone ever complains about fullback or winger X not returning the ball full pelt and they think he's dogging it, they just have to refer to footage of Atkins getting pulverised... I was actually surprised he didn't get another go for pure ticker alone.

Imagine a pack featuring Tyran Smith and Grant Young together. 40-50% completion rates would be the coaches target. Anything more would be considered a bonus.

Glenn Grief, Jason Death, Owen Craigie, Brent Grose, Shane Rigon

Death was a cult hero at the Warriors. From memory I think he picked up player of the year one year there. For some reason, both him and Robbie Mears played career best footy at the Warriors.
