Boyd coroner, his dive to win a penalty try in game two won the series
Yet Slater the king of diving was your captain
There's a difference between worst players and worst performances. Eg saw Nathan Merritt mentioned here - had an awful SOO but IMO one of the best wingers of his time.
So..
Worst Players (I'm going all-time here..)
Joe Kilroy
Dane Carlaw
Jeremy Schloss
Danny Moore
Stuart Kelly
Adrian Brunker
Rex Wright (made SOO from Country Origin - great effort though!)
David Brooks
Alan Wilson
Ken McGuiness
Josh Perry
Joel Monaghan
Anthony Quinn
Kade Snowden
Tim Grant
Some of these guys had one or two bumper seasons then nothing (eg Grant), journeymen, toilers etc (eg Brooks).

I’m watching game 2 1982. Tony Melrose played his only Origin game and he would have to be up there. Was beaten all ends up by Ribot all night long and looked totally out of place.
No Jamie Buhrer???
I feel like Dane Nielsen is worth a shot. At the time he was playing for Melbourne, he didn't look out of place. But as soon as he went to another club (the Warriors, and then on to other clubs) he showed himself to be shit.
But did he win the scrums?
Lost the series for us, even though his face was still on billboards as a winner up hereCam smith, only won two premierships from all those grand finals then if he didn't dog it this year we are 1-1 now
Do Aaron Raper and Ken McGuiness count if they never made it off the pine?
How he even makes first grade is baffling.Just had a crack at the worst blues team from the 8 straight
10: Tim Mannah
Idris went alright in that one game he played off the pine.
Put beau scott in there. He was terrible at centre.
At that time our stocks were low but he actually went alright. How he even makes first grade is baffling.
Beau Scott played his balls off in the 100th origin.. NSW were getting battered in the 2nd half and he was tackling his heart out - he stopped qld at the death and collapsed after the game. I've got nothing but admiration for him and all the other blues that played in that game. Its the best origin match I've ever seen.
