I was gonna add tronc to the list. Makes plenty of tackles but causes as much discomfortable to the bal runner as a nice massage. Gets dragged back in defence as a tackler everytime without it mattering if its preston campbell or moimoi running it up.
Ill throw in a few from the past
Ben Czilowski (spelling?) - Still yet to see a player get belted as badly in a single game as he did against the cowboys in 05 round 2 for the bulldogs. I remember this night because thats when channel 9 blews it load of SBW and would find a way to put his name into every play even if hes sitting on the bench. Even guys like Rocket Rod Jensen and Aaron Payne were putting shots on him, both good defenders but not renowned for the big shots.
Paul MchNicolas - Put another 15cm on top of tronc and cut his co-ordination and agility by about 50% and u get this useless piece of sh*t.
Jaimen Lowe - 4-5 years in the north and never saw one line break or even half of one and most of the time would actually turn his back to the defensive line to take out that last slight chance that he could get through if that first tackler fell off. On the very rare occasion he was having a solid game he would wait for the game to be in the balance to throw some stiff arm across the face, have a swing at the first marker or just not being to hang on to it to save himself. Basically the Carl Webb of today with tape around his head and no tattoo's and doesn't talk himself up b4 every big match to dissapoint after.
Couldnt be bothered thinking of others, but if a somone can rattle off some names from say the early 00's it might turn into a pretty prestigeous award lol
