Worst Referee Call Ever?

Glad someone else created this thread because I was going to. Thank god the Storm's 'try' that resulted from the Gavet penalty was disallowed.....much to my amazement as I thought that was pretty 50/50. If it was awarded I would have been pretty dark.

Perenara seems to cane the Warriors to try and convince us he might be a Kiwi but not biased.

What a shocking call. The tackle was legit ffs it wouldn't matter if Munsters leg snapped off at the knee it wasn't illegal. f**k these refs off, I bet Cam Smith was in his ear straight away.

Except for the fact that it was correct. Do dragons fans seriously think that was a bad call?

Getting shafted by a ref in a Melbourne game is a tradition going back to 1999 for St George. We just accept it and get on with the season. :p

But back on original topic I agree with the OP

We need the refs to present themselves to a press conference and explain why they came up with such dead set bullshit calls.

Etu Uaisele made a tackle on Manu Vatuvei in Round 1 2011 when the Eels beat the Warriors where he tackled Manu's knees. I think Manu ended up missing a month or 2 of footy. I remember there was some debate about the sportsmanship (or lack thereof) at the time. From memory I don't think he was penalised. It was worse than what Gavet did. Neither though are contrary to the letter of the rugby league law as far as I know
