your nuts for adding Glacier
he was a very decent in ring performer, techniqually pretty sound from memory, had an ordinary sub zero type gimmick but if they had of repackaged him he could of been a solid mid carder

No relation of Randy Poffo? a.k.a Macho Man Randy Savage

Leaping Lanny Poffo was Randy Poffo (Savage's) brother.

His in ring wrestling style and persona was considered gay by many, thus his unofficial nickname of Leaping Lanny Poofo. Lanny's style involved high flying cartwheels, Moonsaults, top rope attacks and other moves. Ironically, Leaping Lanny went on to revolutionise the wrestling game and he is arguably the most influential (or at least the first pioneer) of modern day wrestling. He always started with the microphone and a poem (ala John Cena and many others) and as I said had the acrobatic style of most cruiserweights. Leaping Lanny later went on to become the Genius Lanny Poffo and manage Mr Perfect Curt Hennig. His best victory was a countout victory on Hulk Hogan on Saturday Night Main Event. Other than that (on Australian tv at least) he had a couple of wins when first becoming the genius and once pushed Cowboy Bob Orton to the brink in a 20 minute classic match where Cowboy Bob Orton needed to use the illegal cast and Superplex to get the victory.

Leaping Lanny may not have been a superstar, but he definitely wasnt the crappiest wrestler of all time and would probably be worshipped in todays environment.

I see your point but he sure was annoying when he did his intros. As a youngster, I always groaned when he used to appear on the WWF. If he did it now, as you mentioned, would probably be "over" with the crowd.

I guess Leaping Lanny was so bad, he ended up being good if you know what I mean. Similar to the greatest-jobber-in-history, Barry O and Koko B. Ware.

Bam Bam Bigelow was severely burned after rescuing some children from a burning house just after his WCW days.

I don't know if that killed off his career but the incident definately happened. Not bad form for a hated heel.
He was an OK wrestler, and a good bloke.

Scott Steiner while in the WWE was pretty damn poor!

Goldberg, still a big fan of his, although maybe not the best wrestler.

And I actually dont mind Snitsky lol.

John Cena

Pfft, did you even see his early matches? The only reason he looks dour now is because, like all WWE main eventers, he has to work 'WWE main event style'. Remember when Brock and Kurt did high flying moves? They had to stop because the WWE demanded they do. Rock used to do a sweet spinning DDT (Laying the Smack Down) and it went out the window when he went big. Cena was a damn fine wrestler, but WWE have toned him down because (and I don't know where they got this impression) they think he can't be a bad ass rapper if he can wrestle as well.

WWE main event style sums up to a few things:
- No flying
- Must have a submission hold (eventually)
- More brawling

I'm not a Cena mark by any stretch, but I'm sick of seeing people dump on his ability when:
a). He's had two entertaining PPV matches in a row
b). He used to wrestle consistently good matches, until being forced to adapt his style
