He would make a better lock then 5/8. He hasn't done much in attack this year, and would be best served as a defensive player and goal kicker. Matai HAS to be put in the centres, and Burns HAS to stay at 5/8. You can't drop a $500k player to the bench or Premier League, so put him at lock. Centres with good defence and size can play lock no worries.

Seriously, he was the worst back for Manly against the Doggies.

Orford will add a fair bit with his kicking game. Try Monaghan at 6 and see how he goes, Balin looks to be going well at hooker.

Orfords Kicking game will improve Manlys attack at least 2 fold. If opposition teams target Orford, then shift your play to Monas. It would be much more difficult to keep these 2 under control at the same time.
