Any future Internationals on the horizon? hahaha
From last years 15s (this years U16s) absolutely!!!

Izac Isdale at fullback is one that will go all the way.
The Finau twins if they choose league over yawnion can definately go all the way
Sebastion Taylor, centre and fullback is also an outstanding goal kicker has the goods to make it
Terowie Golding Lyons a stand off will go far. Very smart player and made the NSW Combined High Schools team which is really hard to make. This season will be his Second in the Wests comp having come from Soufs
Noah Vaotangi a middle forward #13 will play 1st grade eventually if he gives up Yawnion
Etuati Neiufi a hard running prop that has a big motor.

These are just a few kids that I reckon will make it. Be remember they are still kids. Still have 6-7 years before they will debut.
I salso encourage any fans to get out their and watch some of them running around in AJs, Matts and SG. You will be amazed!!

Matts Wests 42-4:

Wests obviously a far superior team. The stand outs for me were Curtis Lakeman, what a talented young 7 he is. Great passing and kicking game, easily the most class on either side. The winger James Lanyon WOW. He reminded me of an NFL running back with his spin moves. Made 3 line breaks in about 10 mins. Certainly one to watch. The captain Havea jnr tough as always.

Balmain started well, were using the ball alot and seemed well structured but just dont have the players to compete with a team like Wests. Thought the 6 and red headed winger went ok.

Scary thing is Wests looked like they never got out of first gear and still won by 40. Certainly a worry for the rest of the competetion.

Ball Balmain 28-16:

I thought this was a real quality game. Scoreline felt right, Balmain were definetly the better side. Marc Tannous, Id said a few times I didnt rate him however his second NRL pre season seems to have done wonders for him. Completely controlled the game, brilliant kicking game (must have got 4 repeat sets) and great pass for the first try in the second half. Hooker Jared Haywood is all class, very different player to TDS but looks like an NRL player too. Nice little headache for the club in a couple of years. The fullback we brought down from QLD had a mixed game but is a very dangerous runner, blew a certain try late in the first half but then made a line break from a kick return which lead to a try in the second half.

Wests werent terrible but the lack of direction from their halves was obvious. Maksani got little ball, Karnib was shaky at fullback (ended up swaping with Oittman) and Godinet wasnt used a lot either. They looked more like a team of good players whereas Balmain played like a team.

Nice first hitout, Wests should get better and its nice to see Balmain will be competetive this year.
