I've seen RZA, Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man live...hopefully they come over to NZ...Deck has some of the illest verses of all time. Oh and some of Cappa's on Ironman are crazy underrated

I'm a big fan of Deck, rate Uncontrolled Substances as one of the best Wu albums. Haven't seen him live on his own but he was pretty good when he came out with half the Clan in 2009.

Out of the wu members I've seen solo I have to say RZA was by far the best. Which is weird because he generally gets exposed on his solo albums.

I saw GZA when he was last out, he was terrible, he could barely stay upright.

A shame, he's by far my favourite Wu member.

I saw him too, all the energy was coming from the crowd, he was so dry. It's a shame too, his solo albums are awesome.

Have to say the RZA is my favourite even though he gets exposed on his solo albums, he does great work producing for the others.

Is that Omar Little in your av?

Raekwon was very good when he came out. I was incredibly disappointed with Ghostface though, he's my favourite Wu member and I was very bitter at his preformance on the mic, tracklist, stage presence etc.

Ghostface had decent stage presence but no energy in my opinion, he came accross as lazy. The show was still fun, I ended up seeing him on the Wednesday and the Monday. I was disappointed that he didn't show up at the after party. That said the music there was awesome even though staying there til three in the morning when I had a uni exam at 8 was stupid.

Raekwon was okay, but because I had seen RZA a month earlier I couldn't rate him that highly.

I was expecting a bit more from Ghostface, especially from the Theodore Unit catalogue. Rae dropped all the gems, and had very good mic control, imo.

In saying that, I saw RA The Rugged Man live here in Auckland a couple of weeks back, and I can quite honestly say that it was the best gig I've ever been to based on the mic skills and presence and interaction skills of the emcee alone. He's a funny dude too.

Haven't seen the Rugged Man live yet. Have to say the best hip show I have ever been to was MOP in 2009, f**k they were awesome. It was ashame more people didn't go :(. They interacted with the crowd so well, amazing energy, great stage presence and everything. I was right at the front, Lil Fame was putting the mike to indavidual members in the crowd during How About Some Hardcore I got to be one of the special people. When Billy Danze was shaking hands with the crowd he actually looked them in the face it was awesome when he got shook my hand he actually took it with both hands, made me feel like a fan girl.

Rugged Man was teh same, stage dives, walked through the crowds, told the security on stage to f**k off when they were holding the crowd back. Interacted really well with the crowd too, asking them who their favourite rappers from Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island etc were, what tracks from him they wanted to hear "I yelled out "merkin Rennaisance" and he dropped it, was brilliant. Got a chick up on stage, dry humped her and did all sorts of nasty shit to her on stage in front of her boyfriend which was awesomely funny, ended up taking her backstage after teh show and he was so angry...we all laughed, its like RA said to him "you DONT bring your girl to a Rugged Man show". But he dropped EVERYTHING, even his newer stuff with Vinnie Paz and Celph Titled.

Lol Billy Danze didn't stage dive, but that's a good thing, someone would have died.

Sounds pretty epic. Might check him out next time he comes to Aust.

All the Wu-Tang guys get chicks on stage to dance lol. Except Raekwon who got guys on stage and told them to do pushups.
