WWE SuperThread II *Spoilers*

Nakamura speaks decent English according to Jim Ross. But for him it will be best to stay in NXT for a while and learn the "WWE style".

Balor's promos in NXT have been solid, but his promos are best as a heel of few words. Add in him bouncing off Anderson, and they're onto a winner.

Just have him come in and have great matches with Cesaro, Owens, Styles, Zayn, Rollins, Brock etc but I guess they'll have plenty of time for that down the road.

Fair point, although they could have Balor do the same.

I'm actually glad the WWE gave us a surprise like that. Yes, it would have meant more if Joe won it on NXT but then the next few weeks of WWE would have been spent wondering where Balor's at and why they don't have the Bullet Club on TV yet.

Yes, there was still a hint of that but not enough where it ruined people's enjoyment of the product. Sometimes I wonder whether or not people actually enjoy Pro Wrestling or just enjoy bitching about Pro Wrestling. Turns out by and large fans actually will give credit where it's due when you cut the obvious crap out. No Authority, Reigns being able to play it cool, debuts, returns, intriguing match-ups, the undercard guys being given more of a push - the fans appreciate stuff like that.

Now you throw Balor into the mix and it sets up a must-see PPV. Anything could happen and chances are whatever does happen should be sweet either way.

The dog days could be over...

...until they go back to Rollins (aka HHH Jr).

So we have our first results from the Cruiserweight Series qualifying matches, from PROGRESS Wrestling in the UK:

- Zack Sabre Jr def. Flash Morgan Webster
- Jack Gallagher def Pete Dunne

Are we to assume after Raw that Styles is heading for a heel turn or a split with his mates?

I'd like this to be setting up a Balor debut. Keep both Styles and Reigns face, but have Gallows & Anderson beat down both at the end of their PPV match with Balor picking up the scraps.

Screw Balor and his club. Give me Styles, Joe, Aries, Roode standing side by side in a WWE ring and I'll be happy.

Won't happen because we know WWE wouldn't want to acknowledge anything TNA even without saying the name, but that would be a great moment.

Raw has been fun since WM, but Shane running the show just makes no sense whatsoever.

It's almost like they had planned for him to go over, but decided a face winning would take away from Reigns' magic moment...

The fact that the commentators are talking about how good friends Gallows, Anderson, and Styles are, leads me to believe its going to be Balor Club.

What else doesn't make sense is the fact that they're all friends. I guess AJ Styles is the new Sting, and doesn't mind copping a beat down from his "partners" every now and then...

That whole back stage conversation the three had was such a contrived discussion. Everytime someone in the WWE says "We got your back" it usually means they plan on sticking a knife into it.

I was more referring to this:

It's like Styles completely forgot Anderson & Gallows beat the shit out of him in Japan (I know this is WWE booking it, but it's still stupid)

I'd argue it's more to do with different 'universes', yes they reference all of them being in NJPW, but the average fan would not see it

Legendary professional wrestler Ric Flair has once again lived up to his monicker as the “dirtiest player in the game” by sneak-attacking his own daughter, Charlotte, to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

For months, Flair has pretended to be Charlotte’s most loyal advocate and co-conspirator, but it seems that was all an elaborate subterfuge to ensure Charlotte would let her guard down.

At a WWE live event last night in Tallahassee, Charlotte issued an “open challenge to anyone in WWE” to face her for the Women’s Championship.

Flair, exploiting a new loophole in WWE — that female wrestlers are now “Superstars” instead of “Divas,” thus allowing impromptu intergender matches — slid into the ring and clobbered his daughter from behind with a pair of brass knuckles that had apparently been concealed in his underpants.

After pinning Charlotte (surreptitiously using the ring ropes for leverage), Flair strutted about the ring with the Women’s Championship around his waist, mocking his heartbroken daughter.

Flair is scheduled to defend his championship against Becky Lynch this Monday on Raw.

I haven't watched Chikara in a while, but really enjoyed 3.0 in their squash, as the squashees against the Revival.

Thought NXT was a little dull this week aside from the main event. I suppose that's to be expected when Eva, Carmella, and Hype Bros/Blake & Murphy are all on the show with the only other match leading up to the main event being a squash.

Eric Young just debuted at NXT, confronting Samoa Joe.

Bobby Roode. May as well change the name of the show to NXTNA...
