everyone is forgetting that he's a heel so he's meant to be losing to cena

for some reason being a heel constitutes little clean wins unless your name is brock lesnar

That's just silly. Heels/villains are meant to lose 'eventually', but that doesn't work if they're consistently made to look stupid.

Can you imagine Star Wars with Darth Vader being a cowardly putz who
Skywalker beats soundly 4-5 times? Nobody would care.

The last real top heels were HHH and Edge. Lesnar would, but is more a tweener that just beats the shit out of whoever he likes. Any heel that is different and looks like moving up the card either turns face or becomes someone's bitch and ends up opening the shows.

So what's the story with Kane? It's as if he doesn't remember what he did at NoC to Seth Rollins.

The idea is that there is the Director of Operations Kane, and the masked monster Kane. Basically he has a split personality and once he puts the mask back on he goes mental.

Well it worked so well in TNA with Black Reign/Dustin Runnels :sarcasm:

Seriously though 2 amounts of Kane on the show? Do we need that? Especially when we've got the Wyatts all billed as monsters.

Kane was a great gimmick back in the day and Glenn Jacobs is one of the best big men ever, however pushing a 48 year old (twice!) with so many young wrestlers languishing is incredibly short term.

Its also trying to put the Genie back in the bottle, as I don't think he ever recovered his credibility from taking his mask of the first time round and not being burned. You can't then decide he needs the mask again. It would be like Anthony Hopkins removing his elephant man make up half way through the film, winking at the camera, then putting it back on again and expecting the audience to still give a damn.

I don't mind him in his authority role as he is an imposing guy who deserves respect for all he's done over the years. But if the Authority need an enforcer take a younger guy who could do with a push.

Kane is probably the best example of WWE's horrible ability to make talents. When he debuted against Undertaker he was a beast. They built him up until he won the WWF Championship. Once they hotshotted the title to Austin the next night, it killed him. It took until the relaunch of ECW for him to be taken seriously as a top talent

Is anybody even remotely interested in seeing either of Big Show v Lesnar or Kane v Rollins?

It's like a 1990s/2010s crossover that nobody asked for.

I have no problem with Big Show vs Lesnar, so long as Lesnar absolutely wipes the floor with him. Kane vs Rollins is pretty meh though, hopefully it's a one shot program. Problem is that they are building to Rollins vs HHH at Wrestlemania, which means we are going to be fed more of this most likely.

The other thing is that the best part of The Authority, J&J Security, still aren't back.
