The angle has been so rushed.....

What I would have done is fired Cena and kept him off TV for a while. I would then have many wrestlers try but unable to get the better of the Nexus. All of this leads up to the Monday Night Raw after TLC. The main event is Randy vs The Miz in a non-title match and if Randy wins, he gets a shot at the title at the Rumble. During the Main Event Wade and the Nexus run down and Smash both competitors causing a DQ. John Morrison then runs down and uses his contract and wins. At the Royal Rumble it is then Wade vs Randy Orton as the last two in the Rumble. Wade is about to Eliminate Randy when Cena jumps the barricades and throws Wade over the top. Security rush into the ring and escort Cena out. Over the coming weeks Cena makes appearances like Matt Hardy back in 2005 unannounced to reek havoc on the Nexus. It culminates at the Elimination Chamber, when Wade has The Miz, The champ after he beat Morrison at the RR, up for a Wasteland when Cena's music blasts over the P.A System. Wade drops the Miz and is looking, up and out of the cage for Cena. Cena is nowhere to be seen. The Miz recovers and gives Barrett a Skull-Crushing Finale to retain. So now Cena has cost Barrett twice, and Barrett wants Cena's head. He gets permission from the RAW GM to have a match at Wrestlemania in a Cage, with Cena to once and for all end it.

I agree the angle was rushed...but boy DB your suggestion isn't exactly slow either.

I'd be really against Morrison winning the belt at this stage because he isn't ready to headline Mania just yet.

Barrett requesting a cage match is quite odd given it works in Cena's favour. I suppose you could pull off a swerve but really fans would be wanting to see Cena come out on top and get his revenge on Nexus, not see Barrett humiliate Cena.

Judging by Raw, there seems to be a reason why they sped the Cena/Barrett portion of the Nexus storyline up.

After sleeping on it I thought the show was actually fairly entertaining. Highlights for me was the Sheamus/Morrison, TLC and Chairs matches while disappointments were the Orton/Miz match, basically for the ending which I felt was overcooked - they should have just stuck with the original ending.

I found the TLC match really fun on review, some really fun spots and I thought Edge showed some really good emotion in winning the belt, it obviously meant a lot. It's just a shame that the feud between Edge/Kane has been so backwards - if you wrote the entire feud down, you'd swear Kane was the face. I mean, how hard would it of been to make Edge the sympathetic tweener who is on his last legs as a main eventer and despite his ability can't seem to win the big one?

Instead we've seen him regress to a really shallow Mania feud with Jericho (Spear! Spear! Spear!), fight a talking computer and capture a fat guy only to instigate his murder. It's s**t like that, that turns me against the modern product.

Cena/Barrett was just rushed, as I said. Cena should've taken time off until the Rumble, cost Barrett his chance at Mania and had his return explained by a surprise return by Vince McMahon. I suppose creative just wanted to get this feud out of the way to move Cena onto something else for Mania but if that's the case why didn't they move the angle up a month or two?
