He was a writer on four episodes, all four of which were awesome. He worked as a consultant on a bunch of others, and played the fluke man in the episode about the monster in the sewer/Russian sub.
Should make it worth watching I think. Some of the X-Files better episodes were of the monster of the week variety.
The conspiracy story line seemed to get so convoluted I don't think anyone knew what the hell was going on at the end.
I saw the movie tonight, and as big a fan of the X-Files as I am, I have to say I didn't think much of this movie unfortunately. I would've loved to have walked out at the end with a much better opinion of it, but I left questioning why they bothered to make it. The main story didn't particularly grab me, the side stories (Scully and that kid in the hospital, & Mulder and Scully) just seemed silly and almost pointless. Billy Connolly was great, however.
One thing I am almost certain of is that there won't be a 3rd X-Files movie.
They didn't even ask any questions let alone answer anything ..!PS... Were there any answers out there though at all.....? mate ?? ;-)
I didn't even think it was that either. It would've been a weak tv episode in my opinion. I thought that as I was driving home from the cinema. It's a TV episode on the big screen.
