He was a writer on four episodes, all four of which were awesome. He worked as a consultant on a bunch of others, and played the fluke man in the episode about the monster in the sewer/Russian sub.

Are you talking about that Darin Morgan fella, or Giovanni Ribisi?

I saw the other night a Season 3 documentary kinda thing (it's on disc 7) that had that writer (Darin Morgan) say a few things and had Chris Carter mention him. I didn't know he was the fluke man ... unless fluke man was played by that Giovanni Ribisi!

I was talking about not knowing who Giovanni Ribisi is. Quite clearly I have no idea who he is!

Oh, haha, yeah Morgan was fluke man.

Ribisi has been in stuff like Saving Private Ryan, The Other Sister etc. Quite a good actor.

Should make it worth watching I think. Some of the X-Files better episodes were of the monster of the week variety.

The conspiracy story line seemed to get so convoluted I don't think anyone knew what the hell was going on at the end.

Yeah, I agree, this is the main reason why I love Supernatural. I might watch it now before it comes out on pay t.v.

It's out today. I'll be seeing it on Saturday. I really hope it's not crap as it could potentially tarnish what was a great show

More questions posed as usual than answers ?? lol...

By the time " the answer that is apparently still out there ' is known. We'll be long dead and buried.

I saw the movie tonight, and as big a fan of the X-Files as I am, I have to say I didn't think much of this movie unfortunately. I would've loved to have walked out at the end with a much better opinion of it, but I left questioning why they bothered to make it. The main story didn't particularly grab me, the side stories (Scully and that kid in the hospital, & Mulder and Scully) just seemed silly and almost pointless. Billy Connolly was great, however.

One thing I am almost certain of is that there won't be a 3rd X-Files movie.

IMO this movie was made as the actors/actresses cant get a acting job elsewhere etc, and needed some extra cash for party money.

Lived and rode on the popularity of the series for one more time. As knew they could. Third movie, surely not . !??

PS... Were there any answers out there though at all.....? mate ?? ;-)

They didn't even ask any questions let alone answer anything ..!

And the session I went to (5pm Sunday evening) was rather empty too. That being said, I saw the Batman one the previous Sunday (7pm session) and it was equally empty, so make of that what you will.

Kind of disappointed to here how bad the new X-files movie is.
Will probably catch it on DVD for 'completeness'

It's not bad, it's just not ... much (I suppose is the best description I could give it).

It's a TV episode on the big screen.
I didn't even think it was that either. It would've been a weak tv episode in my opinion. I thought that as I was driving home from the cinema.
