Watched my first game on the Optus sport app tonight and it was surprisingly good.
Yeah the actual product for the most part is great, just a shame they blocked out so many EPL fans. Feel sorry for my mate who needs to scratch around every week for a good stream.

And f**k, that win at WBA is so much more crucial after United upset Chelsea...

Yeah I have barely watched any LFC games love this season as I didn't have the Optus sport subscription. Upgraded the phone and have the subscription now. Was surprised at how clear the picture was on my phone.

United were all over CFC, that title race is getting very interesting. Good thing is United still have to play Spurs, City and Arsenal away. If we can hold our nerve and win the next 3 games then top 4 should be sweet. Like 13/14, take it one game at a time.

Have to give Migs some credit as well. He's made some crucial saves the last few games.

Yeah Chelsea were absolutely shite. United's tactics were good but doesn't excuse how bad Chelsea were.

It's probably the worst I've seen Chelsea play this season. A lot had to do with how up for it united were but there's no denying Chelsea were off their game big time.

They did it again. Squandered a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at Anfield to Crystal Palace :(

the most shit thing was coutinho was almost unplayable first half, palace's gameplan was to knock him about and he made a fool of them. some of his touches and passes were delectable....and yet we still managed to f**k it up with wasted chances. lucas's throughball for firminho was pinpoint and he couldnt commit to slide...fmd.

summary of the season: missed chances and diabolical set piece and counter attack defending.

I would honestly love us to focus the entire transfer window on replacing our defence. Out goes Lovren, Klavan, Clyne, mignolet, Milner and Moreno.

We'll probably sign 3 strikers and 4 CaM's tho.

it would cost less to find the 1 mid/attacker that makes the difference in last night being 3-2 instead of 1-0

contest should have been over at halftime

I am f**king fed up with Liverpool's defensive incompetency. I yearn for the days when the LFC defence was built like brick shithouse. Now it's made of f**king wet paper.

Up until their first goal, Palace had hardly threatened with anything. Liverpool controlled the game and did not seem at great risk of conceding. But all it took was one simple f**king ball down the flank to Cabaye to catch out Dejan Lovren, who has no idea how to read a game properly. It's not like Liverpool were struggling to enforce control over the match and were being overrun, it was just a standard through ball that worked because Lovren is not good enough. This team is not going to achieve anything while they are so pathetically unstable at the back. Klopp, FFS, get some new defenders. Our defence is the reason why we're scrapping for fourth rather than challenging Chelsea. And it's frustrating because it's not often that the best goalscoring teams are also the worst defensive teams (in the top 6).

3 home defeats in a row to Crystal f**king Palace is unacceptable. A lower table team. WTF is going on?

Rafa had us as champions of Europe winning 1-0. The pressure wouldn't be on the attack to bail us out winning 4-3 or 3-2 every game if we had competent defensive players.

istanbul was not 1-0.

and you could argue masha + alonso were key reasons why we won 1-0 so often (ontop of inheriting hyppia carra and getting agger at his best)

Obviously exception to rule, but generally Liverpool under Rafa were good for getting a 1-0 type of result

Anyone else still fuming about the Palace result?
Makes our decision not to buy troops in Jan even more damning.

Who says we decided not to buy. The club had targets and couldn't get them so didn't spend for the sake of it.

Would people actually prefer we wasted money on buying for the sake of it or waited to get the right people in.

We won't fix our issues in one window, fans seriously need patience. Spurs are the example we should follow not Man City or Man Utd

Agreed.

Majority of fees during the January transfer period are inflated aswell.
