Who does Volland come in for tho? He'll have to replace someone as we can't add another attacker to our massive list of attackers.

Not a fan of volland, dont see us going for him either. He isnt going to guarantee goals which is what we need. Besides, if the gotze link has any truth to it theres no need for him.

Volland may have a good combination with Firmino but we need to make sure we get someone in who works well in Klopps system and with everyone. I'll admit I only know of him because he had a good partnership with Firmino but that's about it.

Who's to say Studge won't provide that combination the more he works with Firmino. We all know how good Studge can work with Couts and there is signs it'll work with Firmino. No need to hand over £20m+ to hoffenheim again for a player we probably don't need.

Sule is a different story tho.

Yeah I just can't see the real need to buy Volland.

You know what's pissed me off? Benteke's interview. He had a sook about how Klopp leaves him on the bench and he apparently has no idea why, 'because Klopp wanted me at BVB'. He then hit out at critics who say he can't press or move well. Well they're right, he can't. Otherwise he'd be in the team every week. I can't figure out why Benteke finds this so hard to comprehend. Do what your manager asks you to do, it's that simple.

I was watching Souness's talk on the Etihad pitch after the Manc derby, and especially after what Benteke has said, he's bang on. Players have completely lost their sense of accountability. Benteke: doesn't listen to Klopp, plays like shite - but it's Klopp's fault.

Yeah I read that as well. I think Benteke has basically said in that interview that he'll be wanting out as much as we'll be wanting to sell. It was a strange sook when all Klopp has done is defend him previously and still Benteke can't change his work ethic on the pitch.

Wrong player for the wrong system unfortunately.

What I wouldn't give to have someone like Souness in our current line up as well. Complete midfield player who scared the living shit out of the opposition. Tho I'd want Souness, Dalglish, Rush, Hansen and Grobbelar as well if I'm picking past greats. Any chance we could clone just one them for the current side?

I'd start with Grobelaar. GK is the most important position and our goalkeeper is useless. I'd then go with Souness, Hansen after that.

Seriously idiotic by Benteke though. He wants us to believe that Klopp has a prejudice against him. Get real man. Football is a simple game. If your manager wants you press, and move around effectively by running off the shoulder of defenders and running into the box, why is that so hard to do?! You're a self-proclaimed striker, so why the hell do you remain stationary on the edge of the penalty area when a cross is about to be hit?!

If he was putting in the effort and listening to instructions and trying to learn, he'd still be in the team despite missing all those easy chances he's cocked up.

It's so frustrating because the guy actually has ability, he just refuses to apply it correctly.

If a GK comes in this window it will again be competition for Migs, not to replace him.

Volland is an incredible right winger who wouldn't need to start every game. he is everything the English media hyped Jordan Ibe and Raheem Sterling to be.

To answer the question as to who he comes in for, in the favoured 4-2-3-1 that we have been playing lately, when fit, it would be Milner.
He is no good as an attacking Mid, and no good leading a line, I agree with that, but he is incredible on the right wing. Have im in a heart beat over Milner, Ibe, Lallana and dare say, Markovic.

1-1 was a fair result IMO given the way the match ebbed and flowed. Both sides could barely string 2 passes together at one point which made the game a tough one to watch. We settled quicker and put together some really good attacking movements.

Studge should've buried his one on one with Lloris, thought he could've taken one more touch and placed it better instead of smashing it straight at him. Couts was good yet again and the focal point of everything good we did.

Lovren over commuted slightly on Kane and that was enough to give Harry space to bury his shot. He really is a sniper in front of goal, quality player.

We could've done better but so could've Spurs so a draw if a real fair result IMO.

Dortmund next away which could get ugly if they are on song. Really worry what Aubamayeng, Reus and Mkhitaryan do to our defence, particularly down Moreno's side. His optional sense is just horrible and made to look even worse when Sakho has an off game.
