I thought it was a decent enough performance, have to remember it was against the league leaders and we were coming off a few piss poor performances so confidence would have been low. I thought for the most part we were pretty much in control of the game, just struggled to put them away.

Lucky for Benteke the c**k up didn't end up costing us :crazy:

In other good news Utd lost again, that news always makes my day :cool:

Average performance but good win. Emre Can f**king pissed me off tonight though. Same with Lallana. Can had absolutely no game smarts, no game management. Just wanted to out-dribble everyone. Always choosing the hard way. Lallana was same old Lallana, he needs to go.

Shame Origi got injured, he was going well.

Wasn't empty, there was a defender in front and he had passing options he didn't want to let down. He's devoid of confidence and linked better as the game wore on. There's still some hope for him especially with 3 strikers now on the rehab table

Agreed can couldn't find a forward pass to save his life. There were glimpses of good and bad from most of our players except hendo lovren and mignolet who were all strong throughout. Good bounce back by mignolet, sakho still scaring the daylights out of his team mates

What was Benteke doing here? Empty net and he f**ked it. A toe poke, a side foot. Nothing. No one there.

Oh well. 1-0 is still a win.

There is no way Can is German, the merkin is inefficient as f**k. Based on what is albeit the Serbian league, Grujic looks so much better.

CJ, Benteke had an empty net for a couple of moments as cb4 pointed out. He waited too long and let the defender get in front of him and block the path. All he had to do was be decisive and pass the ball into the goal. I know he scored but his confidence was f**ked tonight. He also f**ked an opportunity when we made an attack into the box, had 2 or 3 unmarked teammates and he completely f**ked it up. Henderson did the same thing too. It was awful tonight sometimes.

At least we finally capitalised on a United defeat. It's like they've been begging for us to catch up on them!

Have to beat Sunderland away. Have to. No excuses.

They are a mess. Teams around us atm have some tough games so we can't afford to stop dropping points in these games we should win easily.

It's the games we should win that seem to stuff us. I liked Klopps change in formation as well, showed a willingness to change tactics when needed. We shut down Vardy and Mahrez as well I thought which was key to getting all 3 points.

Such a shame Origi went off when he did as I thought he was playing well. Lots of movement which is exactly how we should be playing every week.

Lovren was my MOTM as well. I know he and Sakho are both Left sided CB's but until we get in a quality RCB I hope Klopps sticks with them 2. Give them some games together to build a partnership and some confidence.

We need more experience in the squad to be able to fix the consistency issue, but what we can take out of this match is that Leicester play the counter and press with a bit of bus parking better then all the 'winnable' fixtures we should be taking points from, so playing basic football has been a good experiment because he have a clean sheet, yet the chances remain uncoverted.

Have the chance to move up to equal 6th with Man Utd after this mornings results. Only 5 points off 3rd place Spurs

After the results this morning we really can't stuff this up against Sunderland. We lose we stay in 10th..

But these are the games we always bottle.
