Azza ... apologies with the REJECTS.

The past three games has seen macca playing some of his best football ... I dont think it is a coincidence that Reg Regan was here passing on a few tips.

Even the best in the game have a "bad" game once in a while ... we just expect macca to be brilliant EVERY game otherwise we shout out "inconsistent".

It he played under Stuart I'm sure you woull find out how "consistent" macca is ... he would tear a team like ours apart.

Bay, three games does not a season make. Yes he was good but to be a truly excellent half you need CONSISTENCY over a season, and I'm sorry to say he hasn't shown it. I'm not picking on him specifically though, BUT PISS OFF I AM NOT A REJECT YOU TURNCOAT
3 games makes a better season than half out first grade squad   . Sad but true......

We just sucked when Germ isnt there. Macca needs at least one player to take the pressure of him. Gaf is looking pretty useful though.

Moggy was hard done by, he deserved a hat-trick.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ..... HE HAS THE FLU YOU REJECTS
I'll stick by my team, thanks.
I guess Matty forgot to make the hard decision and rule Macca out, fire him asap  Flu's are a b.itch, but it's not the first time someone has played the game of footy with a stuffy nose and mild headache. Make no mistake I'm a Mclinden fan, but his inconsistency will drive anyone crazy, and as most people has stated, this game was 'the game' where we could've made a real charge, I believe we could've ended up 5th after this week with a few results our way?

With Germ looking gone for a few weeks, does that mean Drew will be called back up to the team?

Consistency is vital in the halves. Which is why I would love to see McLinden given a run in the 9 when Woolford leaves. Needless to say his defence would need to step up.

I would prefer Lawrence to Drew also. Drew hasn't done anything in 12months. I guess it depends if Lawrence is considered a long term hooking option, if he is play him. If not, its gonna be Drew

Bay I think we need to throw personal biases on the scrapheap here....If Drewwies fit and Germ is Drew must wear the 9.

Let's not forget, not only did Macca have the flu, he was probably playing on with concussion after that head clash.

Carney didn't do anything as he was again put on late and after the game had been blown to smitereens. No possession and forwards putting in as much effort as a wet sponge.

Drew should be escorted out to Canberra Airport and put on a plane for England immediately. I would much rather have our PL hooker, if Woolford is out.

Reason why Macca has been "inconsistent": He has been partnered up with Drew in the halves and we all know that Drew is much more a hooker than a half.

Plus he had the flu/cold and did cop a nasty head knock.

Gees... If Macca is as sick as everyone says he is, then he probably should have told the medical staff that he wasn't right to go this weekend.... And let Carney start the match.

I see no point in giving Carney 25mins when we have no ball and are trying to stop the other team put 50 points on us... he got some tackling practice, but that was about it...

I mentioned this in another thread somewhere, but is anyone else disappointed in Rhino's form of late? It's gone out the window, and i'm sorry to say, he just looks like a passanger out there to me in attack... I don't think he's laying any sort of platform...
