Post Script. That wasnt really our heritage jersey, we should have been wearing the 1995 blue top.

3. Rapira 153mtrs. 24 tackles.
2. Packer 131mtrs 21 tackles.
1. Seymour 3 Try assists. Added another dimension to the team.

Henderson had his best game this year.
Ropati had his best game in three years.
Ta'ai went well.
Maloney had a good game, outplayed Thurston in the 1st half. Was robbed of his 100% kicking record by Klien.
Poching had a solid debut.

The interchange between Tate and Locke is off. Too often Tate's pass is late & Locke is in front.

Manu has to be a worry.

Anyone hear "Cliche" Costigan say "And Thurston leads the Warriors out" at the start of the game?

What about the "selling ice to the Eskimos"?

I'd rather have a biased kiwi commentator like Keith Quinn than an aussie one like this gimp. He probably failed social studies at school to realise that it's an insult to call Inuits anything but.

3. Maloney (does a lot of work, good organising, kicking and defence)
2. Rapira (reliable metre eater, penetrates the line, busy)
1. Ropati (that says a lot for an anti-ropati fan, no dropsies)

We are still not setting up plays to score tries (except for 1). Where are all the back door plays, runners, blocks etc to create space? Kicking to corners is basic, giving the ball to Lance who is akin to 'space invaders' going back and forth laterally is predictable...I'm a gemini so me too get angry when we lose!

Honourable mentions: Ropati, Packer, Henderson, Tate, Ta'ai, Luck< Locke

Hard to choose who didn't get points today, what difference Seymour made, Maloney looked far more confident with Seymour there and this can only grow, our first 40/20 in how long, great try saver by Tate on Bowen, Locke looked much better. Ropati was good, no dropped balls from Royal and good debut by Poching.

What about the "selling ice to the Eskimos"?!

My favorite from last night was 'the Cowboys can breathe a sigh of release'

Not everybody orgasms over the course of a match Costo

Rapira/Seymour/Maloney

But special credit for Ropati, his best in a long, long time and good on 'em. Hope he gets back to his form of old.

3~Rapira: Striking some superb form at the moment.
2~Maloney: A forty twenty from anyone in a Warriors uniform is a rare rare thing.
1~Seymour: Made a huge difference.
