A few things.
.After such highs, how did it go so wrong in the following 3 years?
.The quality of players that cutie Anderson got rid of from the club.
.The effect Andersons, poisonous Dragon Slayer Esque, toxic personality had on heirarchy at the cost of his friendship with Sludge who was the orchestrator of his signing & subsequent removal. Many say Sludge never recovered from that little war.
. Was that Luke Stuart who scored that try?
.Rat, Etts & Peach are the 3 most balanced runners ever to play for the Sharks.

Stuart showed pace I never remembered him having!

My goodness that was good to watch. The peach in full flight, rat in a league of his own...

I was on cloud 9 reliving that stuff but now i'm just depressed.

It's been so long, that I'd forgotton just how good an absolutely chock full Toyota Stadium looks...

Some of those clips are just an awesome sea of our colours. Good memories....

wtf happened that night? why were we so bad? cant just have been busters knee....
Because the entire team knew that Buster was the man in our team. The kicks, the 2nd phase & the composure. It killed the team because deep down everybody knew blake Green & kimmorley were never going to wing a grandfinal. Even Bird tried to comeback for that game & he should have.
In life you look at decisions & wait for the flow on effect a long time after.
IMO the Sharks are still feeling the effects of the Anderson Era & will until we get back to where Langy left us.

speed certainly equals points

I have got quite a few old VHS vids of Sharks games hanging around at home (The 1989 play off for 5th spot against the Bronco's included) If I can work out how to put them on yootube, I will post them

The Preston Campbell era was what got me into supporting the Sharks. There was such a positivity and good feeling around the club. Like good things were just around the corner. Winning a Semi Final by 50 points!?? Unbelievable.

The speed of some of those tries just blew me away watching them again.

To endure some of the seasons we have been through recently and the slow but steep demise of the performance of the team is thoroughly depressing when you view it against those glory days.

Nver forget that drubbing of the Bulldogs. Had a bunch of Bankstown rednecks sitting behind me bagging out Marty Lang as just a "crash test dummy"....sweetest moment of the season when he scored.
