Went for the Truman Show, but I quite enjoyed most of his other films, especially Cable Guy, The Mask and Bruce Almighty.

What's with the amount of people saying the Truman Show? I thought that was one of his weakest attempts.

I'll never watch The Truman Show again. Broke the bastard down frame by frame for the HSC in 02...

Huge fan of Eternal Sunshine, although I'm partial to The Truman Show as well. Of his comedies, I enjoyed The Cable Guy and Liar, Liar. The Mask has its moments. Hate the Ace Ventura movies.

Jim Carrey used to be in a TV show called In Living Color. Definitely one of the funniest TV shows i can remember ... just a simple skit comedy TV show with a difference ... the comedians actually were brilliant. I believe this show was created by Damon Wayans of Mo Money fame. I remember it used to be on late at night on TV here, but id always try and stay up to watch it. Now i wished id taped all those episodes ... oh well. Here's some clips from youtube, if you're bored and want a laugh ...

Sorry folks but ALL material has been removed because "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation"

Why do that ? ESPECIALLY WHEN theres no chance younger people can see how great he was etc.

Dumb and Dumber
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (though not in the right category to compare)
Ace Ventura 2
Cable Guy
Ace Ventura

These are my favourites and probably only Me, Myself and Irene would be the other one up there

Dmb and Dumber makes me bark so I gave it the nod, but Truman, Eternal... and Man on the Moon are quality too. I didn't mind the Cable Guy or Liar Liar actually either. I find Ace Ventura overrated.

How didn't anyone vote for Me Myself and Irene? That's hella funny... "Look, I'm not here to twist your niblits", "Look, I'm not asking you to take a big steamy p!ss on the powerlines", "Come on, I'll buy you a beer, she's screwed anyway."

If I had to vote for his best acting performance, I'd go for "Eternal Sunshine..." as well, but this is for my favourite Carrey movie. I still have nightmares from the breastfeeding scene in "Me, Myself and Irene", so I'll go for "A Series of Unfortunate Events". A great story, brilliantly done.
