was on 9now live, good game good result
It was a good game, Steelers were pretty dominant but really lacked with execution. Should have won comfortably. Knights did defend well though.
The 9 Cowan almost singlehandedly lost the game, she has to be one of the greediest players I have seen in that comp. So many times she chose to go herself on last and ruined any sort of attack they were doing. I was surprised she actually passed the ball for our second try.

Surely we would be able to pick up some decent players from that team, especially forwards !!
Men's and Women's teams need big forwards who can play tough. We get the needed number and we will go well in both squads. The thing is though, even if you have the right players and a good balance in the backs and forwards, that doesn't mean winning comps unless they have great systems in place with top managers in the coaching ranks and the best strength, fitness and conditioning staff together with high tech training facilities and grounds to train at one place - which I hope the C of E will provide.

The players that need to be kept out of that team are Maria Paseka, Indie Bostock, Lily Rogan (maybe), Jessica Patea, Koffi Brookfield (back up half), Bronte Wilson, Mackenzie Lear, Jordyn Preston, Trinity Tauaneai(hopefully doesn't follow her sister to dogs, one bonus is they both play same position so that may put us in with a chance) & Tori Shipton & maybe the 3 Yeo girls.

If the club shows an interest in making the side have strong junior representation, this is the side I would have next year.

1. Berry
2. Paseka
3. Bostock
4. Maybe Rogan but would prefer a gun outside buy with experience
5. Patea/ Rogan or new buy
6. King if she is staying otherwise Zali Hopkins. Would be ideal if they get Evie Mcgrath back from Tigers
7. Kasey Reh
8. Madison Mulhall
9. Clancy or Buy a new 9, preferably a marquee with experience or get Savill back from Tigers.
10. Tara Mcgrath-West
11. Basham
12. Koster
13. Trinity Tauaneai
14. Tori Shipton
15. Lendill
16. Wilson
17. Preston/ Lear

Yeh I had a mate text me yesterday who was a mad and still is Newtown supporter whingeing they had the girls on CH9 TV and why he could not watch it
I assume if you don’t have 9now APP you missed out anyway the poor Bears just can’t get over the line yet again
Yeah the only way to watch them were on nswrltv or 9now. Think Flegg was at maybe 11am, hnwp at 1pm & koe at 3pm.
2 years in a row with a close loss.
