You were spot on with this statement getsmarty. So many 6 agains in the first half against us.
I thought the match was very entertaining. As many wins after 3 rounds as we managed in the whole of last year. I thought the team already looks much more cohesive and purposeful - playing a good style. Competing for the whole match. Kudos to the coaching staff. Much to like for mine.

Even get budded in girls game.
Kick bends back Sharks player fingers in goal clearly and Todd Smith in bunker gives them 7 tackles after our knock on.

The girls probably get dudded more than the men, it has been happening to them for years.

They didn't turn up today though, the defensive line is the poorest it has been all year, sharks are making ground with ease.

Whilst i love the NRLW i feel they have expanded to much to soon in the past 3 years. The quality of footy is way down this year. There are too many teams and frankly many of the girls ain't up to scratch. After 5 weeks - the competition looks like a race in 2 - Broncos and Roosters.
That aside the NRLW is in a much better position that the AFLW who are on their knees apparently leaking $50M per year. There is a fundamental flaw in their competition because not many of their players can kick the Sherrin more than 40 metres. This really affects viewing. The AFL need to make tough decisions - play on smaller fields, eliminate the centre line of 3 players (reduce team to 15 players) or invent a new Sherrin that travels 15%-25% further. Good luck!

Easy - free VFL coverage in the 70-80's on Channel 7 and a thirsty appetite for sport and knowledge. Like anything in life - invest time, persevere, break through the wall and you will be hooked for life. Most golfers know about this!
The best this about loving both AFL and NRL - when the Dragons cannot make the 8 hopefully your AFL team (Pies) can so September will be of interest :D
