I just finished watching the replay (seeing as I just got home from bloody work 2 hours ago...lousy-arsed piece of...:fist:).

Anyway - I was so pleased to see that the crowd that was in attendance was loud and bonkers. It lifted my spirits hearing them - I am sure it lifted the lads when they needed it.

So I just wanted to say - wow. So awesome.

And happy [late] father's day to one and all!

Here Here, I was listening to the call on the radio and it was great to hear the crowd cheering Parra, Parra.
I was listening to the call with Ray Hadley and he got his guy on the side line just before fulltime to talk to Fui Fui, which was just great. The guy asked Fui if he knew he was live on radio, Fui said No, am I and then he was asked if he had heard his song that Ray plays, Fui again said No, the guys have told him about it.
Ray was like a big kid who was getting ready to open his christmas presents, as Ray told his partner in crime to put the headphones on Fui and he played his song, my kids have been walking around the house since then singing it.

So pissed off - I had my tickets all ready. I was ready to go and cheer myself completely hoarse...And I get the work call up. :(

But the team and its supporters did me proud. GO YOU BEAUTY!

It was great to hear the crowd get behind the boys, and why not. That display they put on after 20 mins was amazing.

It sure was a vocal crowd for once.... so often it is a deathly silence at Parra... but not today!

The crowd was in it right from the kick off, it was like they knew that our season was riding on this game.

It was the first game this season a was able to go see due to the new addition to my family earlier in the year. We are a little tight for cash so i said to my fiance that we shouldn't go but she said it's my first fathers day so i should do whatever i want. Boy i'm glad we did go.

Well it was another great day out and I hope to see all the Seaon ticket holders around me in Bay 48 next year, even the Drunk Bloke I sit next to that can't get his arse off my seat. I really think that having the same guys and girls to sit next to really make the experience better. We all said our goodbyes and hope to see each other next year.

The funny thing is I went to Featherdale last weekend and I saw a guy going in and couldn't think where I knew him from. Then I realised it was 'slap hands man'. The guy that loves to give out the high fives when all is going well and he has had enough to drink.

There are certainly a lot of characters in Bay 48.

There is this one girl that is very vocal and has a nickname for every player...

...I think her name is Jess ;-)

It was such a great day and even when we were behind the crowd still seemed to be trying to get the guys home. Hope we get big crowds next year with the same amount of spirit and BAY 48 RULES!

At least you can be understood. I don't think the guys next to me is speaking English. He tries to say "Parra" and I can only vaguely understand that. There is also another person behind me that calls Timana, Tomato. And whinges if Tim Smith can't make 40+ metres from a penalty kick, she says something about a skateboard that seems to make no sense.

Plus the one thing in your favour is that you are far enough away from me, that I don't get deafened.
