Gee Duffty is impressive. If he could just put on 30kg.
He is courageous with his front on defence & has good technique. I understand your concerns with his size, but there are a few who have succeeded at NRL level. I just hope the Dragons can utilise his skills the right way - he has excellent speed, a good passing game & reads play very well.

Live by the sword die by the sword. Well they went down fighting. Dominated most of the game. They were clearly more tired than the Roosters. Might have a bit to do with the game they played against the Cowboys the week before. Proud of them :grinning:

Hard not to think that; the Roosters thoroughly out-enthused them all game, seemed to be running and hitting that little bit harder. OUr boys just didn't seem themselves. They are still a very young team, only a handful graduating above NYC.

It's a shame for them to bow out like that.

However, I must admit that was more exciting that most of the first grade games I've watched this year. I actually cheered when Robson scored to put us 8 points up. I can't remember the last time that happened.

Congratulations to the boys and coach Head.

Had a great season. Started slowly and then put together a long run of high quality footy.

Gave it their all yesterday. Had their chances. This is a very young team with numerous standouts.

Several first graders among them in the next couple of years.

For those who have said Dufty is too small, he defended very well as the last line of defence and made every critical one on one that needed to be made.

Herbert is a superb centre and barring injury will play FG.

Robson is a gun at hooker. He has something Mitch Rein could never aspire to. Footy vision and smarts.

The team missed Host and Garrick. Allouche, Host, Leilua, Lawrie, Robson were their best performers in the forwards but few other forwards were notable.
