Young props - Buchanan v Groat

Just a question on Jack Buchanan.

I believe he played his junior league for Culburra on the NSW South Coast.

That means that I would have known his probable grandfather, Ted Buchanan, who was a director of the Callala RSL Country Club and a damn good golfer before he had a stroke in the early 2000s and passed away a few years later.

Ted was a huge man, close to 6 ft 6 in with a solid build, never drank but was a heavy smoker.

Can anyone verify this connection?

Born in Culburra Beach, New South Wales, Australia, Buchanan played his earliest football for the Culburra Dolphins before joining Canterbury's representative teams as a teenager.

I know he is still a long way of but does anyone know much about Curtis Siro's younger brother ? Apparently he is a big unit as well coming through the ranks.. I heard he is nearly 17 but is heavier than Curtis and loves collision

BMM is finally showing his potential. Spence hasn't done much to impress me so far. Buchanon needs a good off season in the gym. Hope Tapau steps up for us next year. Ava and Sue look the goods, and Brown showed good signs of potential as well
