Bladerunner is a classic. The only movie I had to study and still enjoyed. Can't say I enjoyed Passion. I'm Catholic, and I had a hard time feeling any sympathy for Jesus in it.

Great choices- Clerks was the best of the kevin smith movies and Fear and loathing in Los Vegas is an awesome movie as well! Johnny Depp is so good when he plays those off the wall characters.
And thank god you listed Planet of the Apes (original) and not the Tim Burton remake. That film surpasses Mars Attack as Tim Burtons worst effort.
