i hope the pecking order is:

#1 RCG
#2 Matagi
#3 Latu
#4 Mckendry and Latimore fighting for a spot

You always hope a new coach will take a fresh look at the squad (see things more like us :) ), but usually they don't rock the boat.

How he deals with Merrin and Taylor, and what he does with the halves are his biggest headaches. Agree about your order of props, supposing Merrin isn't played there.

So you all want our number one off season signing wasted out on the edge where he has never played before ? Just to fit in a couple of reserve graders ? Ok. You want Merrin touching the ball as much as possible not 6 or 7 times out on the edge. He needs to be in the middle for defense as well was one of our biggest problems last year.

Merrin/Taylor/Rcg will be our starting middle forwards this year. Latimore and Mckendry/Matagi/Latu of the bench McKendry will most likely get the first crack hopefully he doesn't because he is f**king useless.

Haven't seen anybody who wants that.

If Lats and Mckendry are average at best, hopefully we can see Kikau get a run and knock them both down to depth. But with the reduced interchange it may even help Mckendry and Latimore be more effective. Mckendry should have been our #1 prop right now. His career just went so far off track in the past few years. Same as Grant. Neither looks likely to get them back on track.

I have this as our starting pack if Merrin's lock (Which for dumb Anonymous I said I prefer not to do)

RCG
Seg
Latimore/McKendry
Taylor
Cartwright
Merrin

Peachey
Matagi
Latu/McKendry
???

The fourth depends on the way Griffin wants to go. It's possible we would have 3 props on the bench realistically though it will be 2 props. I would leave Latimore/McKendry to fight put to start with the other not in the side fullstop to leave us with a powerful and speedy bench to take on tiring sides

Personally I would go Temari Martin if he's not starting or Sopoaga/Kikau if he's in the side. I don't think we can have so many props on the bench even with the big minutes the starters can play

In the middle making 40+ tackles a game is what he's good at. Happy for him to prove me wrong but I just dont think he'll be effective out wide.

Not sure what use guys see in YEO...I guess you would all know his game better then me but i see a tall skinny guy with no leg drive that cant dent-bend or break the line and does not have the speed or attack too play centre. Perhaps he hits the gym and adds some beef-Seems to have a professional attitude.

Yeo runs good lines and can hit a hole. Cartwright and Peach should be playing 60+mins each so it shouldn't matter that much who else is picked

You merkins are the f**king dumb merkins. Merrin can only play prop. I thought you f**kers want him in the backrow considering we have Taylor at lock but you no clue merkins want him in the backrow. Taylor in the backrow Really ? And you merkins are calling me f**king stupid.

Why don't you two get a room?

At this stage, I'm just happy to have Merrin in the team. I don't know where he's been training. He's not an idiot. I'm sure he can learn new stuff. As Gus would say, that's what coaching is for.
