Any team not called Melbourne Storm are a long shot, fair dinkum how do you beat that side, even without Cronk I don't think they'll miss a beat. Of those also rans I expect the Dragons, Manly and Panthers to shake things up.

Dragons, if they can start like last year and go on with it they're a chance. Need their lacklustre backline to fire up though or all is lost.
Manly, building nicely and have some good young players and a smart coach.
Penrith, Any team with James Maloney is a chance and with some handy blokes around him they should surprise a few. Moylen for Maloney, worst deal ever.

Dragons.

Their forward pack is one of the best in the comp. Not so sure about the rest of the backs, but the halves are good. Underestimate at your own peril imo.

This Year?

Lol Dragons are the lay of the century, fact is they overachieved big time last season finishing 9th and from that people are expecting them to improve into the 8.

Lose Dugan their one piece of x-factor and bring in Hunt and Ed Sheeran...bottom 4 certs

This guy knows.

Not so sure this year, Cronk, Harris and McClean are three massive losses. A lot will depend on if Munster keeps progressing and how the young kid goes at 7. Interesting year ahead. tipping Roosters v Broncos final though for the health of the game it would be nice to see Warriors pull a rabbit out of the hat and actually consistently win.

I actually think all things going right the merge and warriors are a chance of going all the way. Tigers at best make it in the 8

Usually I’m not comfortable tipping the warriors in the 8 but this year is different. Arguably there strongest side ever assembled so it would be a massive failure if they didn’t atleast make finals

I don't know about the Dragons, it concerns me that they were riding high at the top end of the ladder last year until all of sudden the ink went to paper for their coach and key half, after that they never fired another shot

Ben Hunt will improve them significantly though, wait and see I guess
