1st - Segeyaro since starting
2nd - Soward
3rd - Moylan

Moylan could have been our best but has had a few wtf moments. Soward has been good all season and consistent, but the spark Segeyaro has added since starting puts him as our best for me. We had wlwl form before he was starting, and have won 9 from 12 I think it was since he has been our starting hooker.

I think you are spot on about Seg which I think makes the purchase of Korosiau a strange one. Unless IC has other plans for Korosiau, I can't understand why you want to change the formula of Segs playing for 80 mins. I would have thought we had other positions that needed strengthening more than hooker considering Peach can also play there.

Mansour has been absolutely brilliant for us all year. Taking nothing away from the other guys, IMO he's clearly our best performer.

I don't think it's a strange purchase. Right now if we lost Segeyaro to injury, we could pretty much kiss what little chance we have goodbye. We either have a rookie hooker or we go to Kingston who hasn't been a good first grade hooker IMO for 2 or 3 seasons now.

Korisau means we have two high quality hookers who are young. It also offers another option in the halves in the event of injury, and we could possibly go back to having a utility on the bench. Wiki has him listed as a hooker/halfback. Souths website only has hooker. But I love the idea of having him at the club. I would love to see him get a run in the halves next season if we have a run with injury like we have this season.

Api will start the year in nsw cup next season imo, Peachey and Naiqama probably could of walked into fg elsewhere but didnt.

Not like there was any top class props or halves going.
I think they'll work similar to Seg and Kingston eventually. Run them at tandem at dummy half for 20 mins in the second half. Then leave Seg to handle the last 10 and bring Taylor back on.

It is quality talent too. He would most likely be playing halfback for us now if he was here this year.

It's just speculation on my part, based on the fact he played his junior footy there. He is good defensively, and i would think he is likely to have more of a kicking game than the forwards we tried in that position. Goal kicker too, but that isn't really relevent to his playing position.

Loved the work of Sowie, Moylan and Mansour but I've really been impressed by Lats. Safe, plays big minutes when needed and rarely lets us down in the middle. Thats where games are lost, if they can score through the middle.imo.

It's hard to pick a certain individual as every player has shown glimpses (some more often then not) of what they are capable of. Most consistent individuals would be Moylan, Sowie, Mansour and Segs. But with the competition this year it's anyone's comp. If the planets align and everyone brings their A game come finals time, we could just about do it. All in all it's been a very positive and successful season IMO

I agree it has been a very successful season but think the injuries that have hit us in the past few weeks have all but ruined any chance we had of doing some damage in the finals. Having said that, nothing was expected from the warriors in the 2011 final series and they ended up making it to the GF....

Lats has been good but in reality he is just doing his job, when our other props are plodding around it makes him look much better in comparison. He has been excellent value though.

Segeyaro best player at this point with soward most valuable.

One of the commentators pointed out on Sunday. Soward trusts his outside men to do the job. He'll set up a play and run it but often won't be the last pass like Thurston and co would usually be. Our centres are a big strength so getting the ball to them with depth and , plus a couple of variations is a good play for us. Imagine Jennings getting the kind of ball our outside backs get now.

Soward has been the best. But there is an ensemble who have also been standouts, such as Segeyaro, Whare, Moylan and Taylor.
